About rainbow trout: In spring, the adults form couples and head up the rivers where the female prepares the nest by digging a hole. They live in groups of a few individuals and, if attacked by predators, show solidarity by emitting chemical signals to warn of danger. They have a keen mind and good memory, and some tests have shown that they love to play!
Unfortunately, rainbow trout do not have a good life on fish farms: here, their living conditions cause stress and deformation and reproduction is artificially induced.

About sea bass: Sea bass are renowned for their speed and physical performance: they have even been found 160 km from the coast! Solitary by nature, they adapt very well to any type of environment and can live up to 24 years. Wary but not aggressive, they tend to collaborate in groups to find a good snack.
Unfortunately, sea bass are not happy on fish farms: here, they do not have enough space to swim and live in sad and barren cages.

About sea bream: They love mild temperatures and live near the coast. Sedentary by nature, they move in small groups. To rest, they sometimes cover themselves with sand on the seabed. During courtship the pigmentation of the golden spots is revived, giving a show of pure luminosity. They have excellent communication skills and a study has shown that they even appreciate music!
Unfortunately, sea bream do not have a good life on fish farms: here, the absence of seabed and the aggression caused by stress are serious problems.

About salmon: They live in a group with the same companions throughout their life. They are skilled swimmers, their tapered bodies allow them to move against the current and at great speed. Thanks to their extraordinary sense of smell, they use the earth’s magnetic field to return to the exact place where they were born, travelling thousands of kilometres!
Unfortunately, salmon are very unhappy on fish farms: here, they are not free to move as much as they want to and diseases and infections are the order of the day.
