We work with companies to change the future for animals

We encourage food companies to promote and update their animal welfare policies, to improve the conditions for animals in their supply chain and eliminate the most harmful practices.

SOS PIG

Most pigs slaughtered in Italy are raised in factory farms in which sows spend half of their lives in tiny cages and piglets are mutilated. SOSpig is a campaign aiming to eradicate these cruel practices, engaging with supermarkets and big food companies.

FISH TOO

More than half of commercialized fish today comes from factory farms. We documented them more than once, highlighting a serious lack of welfare for these animals. Our campaign Fish Too at one level creates information for consumers, on the other is directed at food companies asking for higher standards in their supply chain, in order to minimize the suffering of fish.

EUROPEAN CHICKEN COMMITMENT

A wide number of European organizations launched the European Chicken Commitment (ECC) to improve living conditions for broiler chickens in factory farms. By implementing the ECC we can cut out two-thirds of the most serious suffering for these animals.
